Magpie is the first cassingle from the Townhouses and the first release for Melbourne tape and zine label, Healthy Tapes. Magpie was premiered as part of Feral Media's free Summer series and is lifted from the upcoming third LP from the Townhouses.

Hopscotch is taken from a soundtrack coming later in 2014 entitled Paradiso. I Found A Reason is a one-mic cover of Cat Power (who in turn is covering the Velvet Underground) recorded one morning in Belgrave, Victoria.

The cassingle will be released in a limited run of 10 on 05/03/2014 through Healthy Tapes.

All songs written, recorded and mastered by Lee Hannah except Track 1 (mastered by G L Seiler) and Track 2 (written by Lou Reed).
